Registration and payment
How much do I have to pay and when?
To reserve your place, you must make an initial payment of €75 at the time of registration.
The remaining amount must be paid before the start of the training sessions. Your place will not be confirmed until the reservation process has been completed.
If I pay the reservation fee and finally cannot attend, will I get my money back?
No. The reservation fee is non-refundable.
Planning the training sessions requires very precise prior organisation: assigning groups, coaches, schedules, spaces and training contents. A cancellation after reserving a place may alter the calendar and cause a training slot to remain empty.
If the programme is cancelled, will the money be refunded?
Yes. If the programme is cancelled due to a lack of participants or for reasons beyond the organisation’s control, the full amount paid will be refunded.
Sporting level
Is the programme suitable for all levels?
No. This programme is not designed for players who are still in the early stages of learning.
You need to have already acquired basic basketball fundamentals. Therefore, this is not the right programme if you are still learning the most basic technical concepts of basketball.
However, if you play in competitive categories such as Preferente, competitive Senior level or similar levels, you are a very suitable profile to make the most of the programme.
In addition, training sessions are carried out in real game conditions, with regulation baskets and the demands of competitive basketball.
How will I know if the programme is right for me?
If you have doubts about your level, you can contact us before registering. We will assess your case and guide you to determine whether the programme fits your needs.
Schedule and location
Where will the training sessions take place?
The training sessions will take place at the Club Bàsquet Granollers Pavilion, located at Carrer de Girona, 222, 08402 Granollers. The address is confirmed by both Granollers City Council and the CB Granollers website. (Granollers City Council)
What days and at what times will the training sessions take place?
The training sessions will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, in time slots between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
We will inform you in advance of your specific training slot.
How many players will there be per group?
We always work with small groups. Groups will have a maximum of 6 players.
In some sessions, we may work on 3x3 situations, especially when we want to introduce or develop concepts related to the pick and roll, decision-making and reading the game against opposition.
How long does each session last?
Each session includes approximately:
60 minutes of physical preparation
60 minutes of on-court work
The physical preparation part may be slightly shorter to allow for the transition between one activity and the other.
Training methodology
How do you work?
Before starting, we need to get to know you as a player. For this reason, we will hold an online interview to understand your goals.
It is also very important that you provide us with information about your game: videos of games or training sessions, reports from your coach, your usual position, strengths, areas for improvement and personal goals.
Based on this information, we will create an adapted plan to work on the priority areas of your development.
Is physical preparation compulsory?
Yes. The programme includes basketball-specific physical preparation.
We believe that technical and tactical improvement must be accompanied by a solid physical base. Developing the necessary strength, mobility, coordination and endurance will allow you to train better, compete with greater confidence and take your basketball to a higher level.
What happens if I have a previous injury?
If you have a previous injury, you must inform us before starting the programme.
Our physical preparation team will assess your case and adapt the work whenever possible so that you can train safely and make the most of the programme.
Can I choose the coach?
No. Coach assignment will depend on the work to be carried out, the organisation of the groups and the availability for each session.
In any case, all coaches associated with the programme are qualified and experienced. You will always work with coaches who are prepared to help you achieve your goals.
Why do you work in groups?
Because we believe that, at this level, players already have a sufficient technical base and need to train in more realistic situations.
Group work allows us to introduce opposition, decision-making, game reading and learning through teammates. In basketball, a large part of learning comes from interacting with other players.
Training with players of a similar level also increases the level of demand and makes each session more useful and competitive.
Will I receive a report at the end of the programme?
Yes. At the end of the programme, you will receive a follow-up report.
This report may take a few days, as the programme coincides with the holiday period and we want to prepare it with the necessary care.
Attendance and session recovery
What happens if I cannot attend a training session? Can I make it up?
We will try to offer an alternative whenever possible, but we cannot guarantee that all missed sessions can be recovered.
If the absence is not justified, the amount corresponding to that session will not be refunded.
In case of injury, the situation will be assessed individually and a refund or compensation may be considered where appropriate.
Injuries and insurance
Does the programme cover possible injuries?
No. The programme does not include specific medical insurance.
In case of injury or physical problems, you must use your own private health insurance, sports insurance, federation coverage or usual healthcare system.
Equipment and facilities
What equipment should I bring to the training sessions?
You should bring the usual equipment for training:
Basketball-appropriate sports shoes.
Training clothes.
Towel for the gym.
Plenty of water.
Spare clothes.
During the hottest months, we recommend bringing enough hydration and, if possible, more than one spare T-shirt.
Can I shower at the pavilion?
Yes. The pavilion has showers that players will be able to use at the end of the training sessions.
Can parents, guardians or tutors watch the training sessions?
Yes. Family members may watch the training sessions as long as they remain in the stands and do not interfere with the session.
